The rooms weren't very good (we are a family of 5), they were small and and the kids' bed weren't comfortable nor practical. The toilet was really small and the shower kept overfloadlting all the time, despite how hard you try not to. The breakfast was so terrible, that we had to make our own sandwiches each day. The only good thing about the hotel was the pool and the outdoor area, it had a nice scenery and the bar service was sufficient. Not a pleasant experience.
Perfect location, clean rooms and a lovely pool area. Budget prices and amazing staff. Would definitely stay here again!
Fantastic hotel and location. Lovely friendly staff ,gorgeous pool area with comfy sunbeds very well maintained pool clean and well looked after plant 🪴 area's. Food and the pool bar are very nice and with drinks reasonably priced. The only reason I gave rooms 4 stars was only because the bathroom was very small to what I've previously experienced in other hotels and the bed was good but too hard for my dodgy back and hip .But on mentioning this to the lovely receptionist on my 2nd morning into my holiday, a single camp bed topper was put on my bed and my further nights sleep were blissful. Thank you everyone, fantastic holiday. Already booked again for next Yr I'm that happy with my stay .Also must add the nice extra touch was no fee for the in room safe or fridge which I've previously encountered at other hotels, a nice surprise.
This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The sheets were dirty and had hairs in them upon arrival, the comforter had spilled makeup and other stains on it which looked like bodily fluids, the bathrooms smelled like sewer, the bath towels had stains on them and were dirty also… I have never felt so dirty and want to go bathe in Clorox.
All good right on the strip. Not much going on in the hotel but for the price it was great. And you couldn't have got closer to the bars. 10 meters away
Been coming to protaras for 20 years, never have i had such a bad hotel as this. Im70 years old, disabled and they stuck me overlooking the noisiest bar with the most rubbish group you’ve ever heard. It gets worse, not cleaned the room for two days, bloke on reception said why didn’t you say, been out all day thats why. Because im travelling solo they dont think you matter, if i was with my misses we would be treated better. Got hold of credit card company, this lot can whistle for their money. Do not bother staying here ever. Rubbish!
I have just returned from a two week stay at Kapetanios Bay hotel Protaras. At the beginning of my holiday I suffered a fall whereby I was taken to hospital X-rays showed no break but my leg was unable to weightbare. On my return to the hotel I was met by the night time receptionist " Eugene" who very patiently had to carry me to the room as I was in so much pain. This process took 1 hour. Eugene went above and beyond to make sure I was as comfortable as I could be. " Eugene is a giant among men. After this ALL the staff were very good to me from the cleaners to the pool guys. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent something for every taste. The hotel is very clean. My wife loved the pools. The bar prices were favourable. The disabled room given to us was also spacious. But there is one downside to the hotel which is the bar next door. As our room was at the front of the hotel the noise level coming from the bar is so bad you can here it loudly in your room so we were unable to sleep so after two weeks it became a nightmare. I will book there again within the blink of an eye but you need to request a pool view. Eugene a GIANT among men.
I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The rooms were clean and modern but the bathroom was too small and the shower head needs to be fixed, the towels and bed sheets had a weird smell and some were stained. The elevator was slow and it kept bringing us to the wrong floor. We were dissapointed by the food since it wasn't enjoyable because of the taste it had and the lack of variety. The juice/water from the dispenser had a weird taste. We've also noticed that there was a cockroach in our balcony and downstairs near the pool. The beach was about 7 minutes away by foot which wasn't a problem at all but sadly there weren't any other activities too close to the hotel except of some shops and bars. Overall I can say that our experience was alright but it could've been better.
